Let us do the cooking this weekend and treat yourself to our aubergine stifado feast for two!
Start off with a selection of mouth-watering pickles and olives, sourdough rolls with olive oil for dipping, grilled hispi cabbage with chilli and garlic plus a beetroot, yoghurt and walnut salad. Your main will be the classic Greek dish of stifado - mauve aubergine slowly cooked in a rich sauce packed with tomatoes, red wine, Kalamata olives and mountain herbs plus some moreish roasted potatoes with confit garlic to accompany.
