The Food Talks: Andi Oliver - Monday 11th November 7pm
Join us on Monday 11th November at 7pm at Honey & Spice for an evening with award winning TV chef and broadcaster Andi Oliver as part of our series celebrating leading women in food.
Starting out with a career in music fronting the band Rip Rig and Panic with Neneh Cherry, Andi went on to work in broadcasting and establish herself as a national treasure and regular fixture on TV and radio. On the BBC she is one of the judges of the Great British Menu, can be seen hosting and cooking on Saturday Kitchen and popping up on The One Show to host Pub Wars. On air Andi is a regular panel member on BBC Radio 4’s The Kitchen Cabinet alongside Jay Rayner, a regular contributor to Radio 4’s Award winning The Food Programme, and is head judge alongside Sheila Dillon for the prestigious BBC Food & Farming awards.
Through all this Andi perfected her skills in the kitchen, running an ephemeral restaurant called The Moveable Feast, launching her own kitchen in a renovated pub, and more. Most recently Andi has been working on her new project Wadadli Kitchen – serving up real Caribbean home cooking.
Places are £28 and include a drink on arrival and food cooked by us from Andi's Caribbean recipes.
