Autumnal plums are boiled with cinnamon and star anise for a delightfully lightly spiced jam. Serve on toast or in cakes, or use as the base of a gin or vodka cocktail with ice, tonic and a sprig of rosemary.
Shelf life: 6 months in cool dark place. Once opened, refrigerate and consume within 2 weeks.
